On May 10th the Manitoba Chapter held its Annual General Meeting.
We were honoured to have Hugh McFadyen, the Leader of Manitoba’s Official Opposition, as our guest speaker. Mr. McFadyen spoke for about 25 minutes, and then took questions from the floor. He spoke of the provincial budget, the federal budget and the future of Manitoba. His comments were political of course, but also very informative about the background to his position on the Hydro Bipole 2 project.
In thanks for Mr McFadyen’s time the Chapter made a donation to Sport Manitoba in honour of this being thge 25th anniversary of Mr McFadyen having won the siler medal at the World Junior Curling Championships.
